The GE (General Electric) Digital Energy™ GT Series 19” UPS series is a compact; Double Conversion system (VFI, Voltage and Frequency Independent) which incorporates the most advanced power electronics technology and engineered to provide exceptional protection for electrical equipment.

With the Digital Energy™ GT Series, your mission-critical equipment is protected from any fluctuation in your power source, enabling you to concentrate on your core activities. The GT Series is a true VFI (Voltage & Frequency Independent) on-line double conversion, transformerless, intelligent and high performance installable UPS.

This UPS provides critical power protection to suit a wide range of IT Networks, Telecom and other applications. The GT Series is easy to install and service, and is designed for maximum site flexibility. With an attractively designed modern common tower and/or 19inch rack mount cabinet, the UPS can adapt as network configurations adapt. Both the power and redundancy of the system can be expanded by adding units (N+2) to create a parallel system.

For communication, the GT Series is equipped with RS232 and contact interface as standard; a web-enabled SNMP card is available as an option. Operation in remote or unmanned sites is simple to coordinate with the standard remote monitoring functionality. No load shutdown, automatic frequency detection, settable minimum start-up runtime and extended runtime availability with optional battery packs are additional features of the GT Series UPS.

GE's Digital EnergyTM GT Series UL UPS series provides high quality power protection in a cost effective package. The GT Series UL is a compact, true VFI (Voltage and Frequency Independent) on-line double conversion high performance device.

The UPS is designed to support and protect mission-critical applications and provide the user with high reliability power regardless of the mains power quality condition.

All GT Series UL UPS are microprocessor controlled and equipped with RS232 communication and optional SNMP interfacing capabilities for all major operating systems. Extended run times are available with the optional battery pack.

On line, Single Phase, Double Conversion UPS

The Digital EnergyTM LP 11U Series of UPS comprises a comprehensive and high performance platform supplying information-quality power for your critical applications. Based around the LP 11 design, the UPS is easy to install and service and suits a variety of applications and environments.

Although built to withstand industrial environments, its modern design and quiet operation also make it ideal for integration into an office environment. Thanks to RPA (GE's exclusive Redundant Parallel Architecture) the system's power can be expanded by paralleling units, or the system's reliability can be enhanced by adding redundant units to create a totally redundant system with no single point of failure. 

The LP 11U are single phase UPS for 208/230/240 Volt in, the LP 11U/120 models are for 120 Volt 1-phase in. All models have outputs for 120V, 208 and 230/240 Volt single phase.

SNMP/Web Interface
GE offers a very powerful SNMP solution that provides UPS information on the network for various applications. Protection software can use the information to provide a solid data protection solution. Management software can manage the UPS that complies to the industry standard UPS-MIB (RFC1628).

Monitoring the UPS using a standard browser is possible through the built-in HTTP-server. In addition, the multiple configuration methods, both serial and network, make this product easy to install and configure.

UPS Monitor Software

Details

 

GE's Digital EnergyTM JUMP ManagerTM software offers centralized monitoring and configuration of all UPS across a network, and can communicate with all protection software packages and SNMP agents installed throughout the network. JUMP Manager also supports SNMP agents from third parties, assuming they comply with the standard UPS MIB (as defined in RFC1628). This allows the user to manage serial UPS and UPS connected via a modem.

Manageable devices UPS can be monitored via the following communication methods:

  • SNMP/Web Interface box
  • SNMP/Web Interface card
  • JUMP Datashield software proxy agent
  • Third party SNMP agent (compliant with RFC1628)
  • Serial or Modem connection
