We are looking for a Service Manager for our internal Depot Service group.
Responsibilities include managing a technical and
operations staff, and designing, implementing and
coordinating process improvements including a paperless
conversion.
The
Service Manager is responsible for coordinating and
supervising the overall delivery of quality service by
inhouse Technicians, and service associates. Their
primary task is to ensure that workers, equipment, and
materials are used properly to maximize productivity and
that all safety requirements are met. Key
responsibilities include making sure the Power
Conditioning Equipment in for service is serviced in
accordance with quality standards, scheduling or
performing repairs and maintenance, conducting employee
performance reviews and coaching and counseling as needed,
and coordinating new staff training.
This position
is responsible for supervising a team of inhouse
technicians, who provide ongoing maintenance and repair of
contracted and non-contracted three phase high-voltage UPS
power and power distribution equipment. This role
also requires collaboration with manufacturers or service
partners to increase efficiency, production quality, and
volume. The right candidate will possess an
engineering and management background; be familiar with a
variety of the field's concepts, practices, and
procedures; rely on experience and judgment to plan and
accomplish goals.
Additional responsibilities include staffing, training,
scheduling, inventory control, and test equipment
maintenance.
